Farewell Canon Leamy 

The whole school came together recently to celebrate mass to mark the beginning of another school year. This mass was extra special as it was the last one that would be celebrated by our much loved Parish Priest, Canon Leamy. The children sang and read beautifully during the mass. After mass, Canon Leamy came out and the whole school community got an opportunity to thank him for all he has done for us over the years. The eldest child in each class presented Canon Leamy with a card and the Parents' Association and Board of Management also made presentations. Our Chairperson, Helen Arnold, spoke some lovely words of gratitude for Canon Leamy's time with us in Bartlemy and wished him well in his future ministry in Mitchelstown. We finished  up with Úna Finn taking some lovely photographs which you can see below. Go raibh míle maith agat Canon Leamy agus go n-éírí an t-adh leat!
