Sports Day A great day was had by all for our sports day in June. The children participated in a great variety of activities including relay races, tag rugby, obstacle courses, parachute games and team building challenges. A huge thank you once again to our wonderful Parents' Association for organising a great range of refreshments for the children, a medal for each of them and a visit from the ice cream van in the afternoon. It was all greatly appreciated. Here are some of the photographs from the day. Tractor Run and Family Fun Day  Come and join us on Sunday the 9th of September at 11.30am for the tractor run and family fun day at Patsy and Bríd O'Connells farm. This fundraiser is in aid of Bartlemy Parish Hall and Bartlemy National School. This is sure to be a great day with a children's tractor corner, toss the welly challenge, bouncing castle, face painters, tug of war and much more. 
Graduation Mass 2018 We celebrated the graduation of our sixth class students in June 2018 with a beautiful whole school mass. Many parents, grandparents and other family members turned out to celebrate this special mass with us. Mr. Walsh prepared the sixth class beautifully as always. The children began by processing to the altar with a single flower each which were all combined to make a beautiful bouquet. Canon Leamy gave a lovely ceremony about transitions in our lives. The ceremony concluded with the class sharing some special memories of their time in the school before being presented with Graduation Certificates by members of staff. The children sang beautifully throughout the mass. After the ceremony, the sixth class and their parents made their way to the hall where refreshments were served. Slán go fóill rang a sé agus go n-éirí an t-ádh libh sa mhean scoil. Tá súil againn go bhfeicimid sibh arís sa todhchaí! Cork City Sports June 2018 Our school was once again well represented at the Cork City Sports this year ( June 2018) . Well done to all of the participants who all did so well on the day.
