Bishop O’Brien National School is an all-inclusive and welcoming Catholic School which is situated in the hill-top village
of Bartlemy, Fermoy, County Cork. The school is at the centre of the very close knit and supportive community of Bartlemy.
Our staff pride themselves on being fully committed to the holistic development of the children in their care. As a staff, our
aim is to enable each child to reach their full potential and to use their unique gifts and talents to the best of their
ability, while feeling cared for and valued as important members of our school community.
Parents are the primary educators of their children and they play a pivotal role in their children’s education. The parents of
Bishop O’Brien National School work in close partnership with the school. Our Parents’ Association is a vibrant and
hardworking group. Sincere thanks to them for the amazing support they have shown our school to date. We very much
appreciate their immense contribution to the education of our pupils.
