Space Week 2021 An investigation as to why the soil on planet mars is reddish- brown in color and creating and launching rockets were some of the activities undertaken during our Space Week 2021. Below are a selection of photographs from the week. Halloween Art Competition The Parents' Association ran a very successful Halloween
Drawing competition just before the mid-term break. It was wonderful to see how excited the children were about the competition and we were amazed at the creativity and talent in each class. The children truly put their hearts into their entries and it really was a very difficult job to choose winners from each class. The winners from each class are pictured below. The lucky children from Junior and Senior Infants received a beautiful Crayola set and the winners from 3rd to 6th received book tokens. Well done to all and a huge thank you to the Parents' Association for running this competition. Below is just some of the fantastic artwork on display throughout the school at present. Our pupils certainly know how to brighten up the corridors!! AuthorEmma Savage |
