The Junior Entrepreneur Programme is an entrepreneurial
education programme for primary schools all over the country. It is an innovative programme that opens the minds of young children to the world of entrepreneurship, giving them an insight into what is involved in becoming successful business people. This year fifth and sixth class took part in the project for the first time. It proved to be a very successful, rewarding and enjoyable experience for all involved. The Junior Entrepreneurs enjoyed a day out on the 2nd of June at Rochestown Park Hotel where each school got the opportunity to present their projects and also listen to other schools present their work . At the showcase day the children were presented with certificates, a flag and a plaque for the school. Well done to all the children and their teacher Mr.Paudy Walsh for all their great work throughout the project. Below is a picture of the 5th and 6th with their certificates and also a picture of their newly raised flag. A PowerPoint Presentation created by the children with a detailed account of their Journey as Junior Entrepreneurs will be uploaded shortly.

Animal Road Show 2016 A fantastic fun filled day was had by all on the 29th of June 2016 as the ‘Animal Roadshow’ came to visit all classrooms. The day was organised by the Parent's Association to reward the children for all the wonderful work done during the year and to acknowledge their many different achievements over the past few months. The children really enjoyed learning about all the exotic animals and were very brave and excited when it came to handling them too. Our day was finished with some delicious ice cream from the ice cream van. A huge thank you to our Parent’s Association for organising this wonderful event. Below are pictures from the event for you to enjoy. |
