Grandparents' Day 2018  Today we celebrated Grandparents' Day in our school. Following on from a beautiful mass in the church the grandparents made their way to the school where they spent some time with their grandchildren in their classrooms. Many thanks to all the grandparents who made their grandchildren's day by being there with them. . A wonderful day was had by all. Check out some of the photographs below….. Scór na bPáistí
A huge congratulations to all the children who took part in the East Cork Semi Finals of Scór na bPáistí on Sunday the 28th of January 2018. We are all very proud of their hard work and dedication. The léiriú (Sketch) and the Solo Singing acts are through to the East Cork Finals which will take place in Watergrasshill this Sunday coming at 2.30pm. We wish them the best of luck. Christmas Concerts 2017 The children provided us with two fantastic evenings of entertainment in December with their Christmas Shows. We were very proud of them all. Below are some photographs from both nights. Thanks once again to the very talented Una Finn for providing us with the photographs. DVD recordings are currently available in the school. Science Week 2017  This year our school is taking part in the Discover Primary Science and Maths Award. As part of this we ran a Science Week in our school in November. It was a very enjoyable week in which all classes completed a number of fun science investigations. All work completed as part of the Science award will be uploaded shortly. |
