Online Safety and Anti-Bullying

​ Workshops 

On the 28th of January, Pat Courtney, presented the pupils,

teachers and parents of the school with very informative and

helpful workshops in the areas of bullying and online safety.

Through the use of a variety of methodologies, Pat explored the

definition of bullying, the ways in which people bully others and

the reasons they do so. He worked to provide the children with

ideas on how they might deal with both face to face and online

bullying if it were to ever happen to them or to someone they

know. He placed a large emphasis on cyber bullying, strategies

for staying safe online and how to report bullying they may

witness online.
