Science Week 2019 This year our school is taking part in the Discover Primary
Science and Maths Award for the 2nd time. As part of this we celebrated Science Week in our school this week. All classes completed a number of science investigations and some classes also participated in a science themed table quiz. On Wednesday, we had a visit from Nuala Barry, a parent in our school and also a secondary school Science teacher. Nuala visited each classroom where she completed a number of very exciting and engaging science experiments with the children. We thank Nuala for taking the time to visit the school and are very grateful for all of the time and effort she put into preparing all of the wonderful activities. It was a fantastic day which was greatly enjoyed by all. Below are some of the pictures from our week. Details and pictures of other activities completed in individual classes throughout the week will be uploaded in the Science Award Log of Actions in due course.
