Digital School of Distinction Award!

We are delighted to announce that our school has received the Digital School of Distinction Award!

Digital Schools of Distinction is a flagship programme which aims to promote, recognise and encourage excellence in the use of technology in primary schools. This nationally recognised Digital School of Distinction Award, accredited by the Department of Education. 

On Monday 8th May 2017, a validator came to our school to meet with staff members and visit the classrooms to evaluate the use of ICT in our school.

We received very positive feedback from this visit:

"In Bishop O’Brien NS, the staff provide training and support to each child in the area of ICT, equipping children with the relevant and necessary skill set to leave the school feeling comfortable and confident using computers."
